2 Planholder guide
Letter from ted Dear Planholder, What a great holiday gift – the gift of NBA basketball. I’m extremely pleased that we are back on the court and taking the next strides as a franchise. It’s an exciting time for all of us, and I hope you share in that excitement.
Majority Owner; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
It was great to read Tom Haberstroh’s ESPN Insider piece that ranked the Wizards No. 1 in terms of the five most promising franchises in rebuilding mode. We work diligently every day to not only improve our on-the-court performance but also our off-the-court business and connection with our fans, especially our plan holders. So thank you for playing an important part in our process. Many of you renewed your season tickets while others are either first-time plan holders or returning to the organization after an absence. We welcome all of you and look forward to seeing you at Verizon Center and various events throughout the season. Yes, there is work ahead of us, but we are aware of it and embrace it, and I’m excited and energized as we enter the 2011-12 season. We have a great player and person in John Wall. From Day 1 John was aware of our plan and strategy to rebuild the team, and he immediately embraced the concept. He is dedicated to improving his game as well as elevating the game of his teammates. It was great to see Nick Young, last year’s leading scorer, re-signed. Andray Blatche, Jordan Crawford, Rashard Lewis and JaVale McGee were all double-digit scorers last year. We have been lauded for this year’s draft class (Jan Vesely, Chris Singleton and Shelvin Mack), and in the past two years we have added six players to our roster who were first-round draft selections. We will continue to integrate our young talent and have supplemented it with some veteran leadership. We are well positioned for the future. I’m also pleased that our future will pay respect to our past. As you recall, we felt the incredible energy surrounding our return to the red, white and blue color scheme and the unveiling of our new team logos that look to our bright future while recognizing our important history. The overwhelmingly positive response from fans, players, alumni and media was exciting, and I’m sure you will notice the changes on the court and throughout the arena. I’m ecstatic that basketball is back and that you are with us. Enjoy the season, and I hope to see you at Verizon Center.

TicketExchange is the safest, most secure place to sell and purchase Wizards tickets. The total integration of TicketExchange with Ticketmaster systems provides a seamless solution for overall fan satisfaction. Since only Ticketmaster tickets may be posted on TicketExchange, buyers are guaranteed authenticity and exact seat locations. When a ticket is sold, the original barcode is cancelled and a new one is issued, eliminating the possibility of counterfeiting. TicketFast® enables immediate email delivery of purchased tickets, saving customers the time and trouble of coordinating transactions. TicketExchange also uses built-in pricing regulations based on the locations of the seller and the event in order to ensure compliance with state laws that set the maximum allowable resale price per ticket. Posting your tickets is easy and secure! Simply follow these steps: 1. Visit My Wizards Account (https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/home. htmI?team=wizards&l=EN&STAGE=1) 2. Log in using your Account ID and Password. 3. Select Manage Your Tickets. 4. Select the tickets you would like to post. 5. Click to post them for sale – it’s that easy! Please allow 15-20 days business days after the purchase to process and deposit your payment. There is no fee for posting tickets and the process is secure - simply select the tickets you wish to sell, choose the selling price and the expiration date, and submit the listing. Editing your posting at any time is quick and easy. When you post your tickets for sale, you may choose to apply the resale credit on your account or receive a refund in the following ways: 1. Request to have money deposited to a valid checking account or returned to a valid credit card by Ticketmaster if your seats are sold (if you’re posting for the first time, select “Pay me directly” and you’ll be prompted to create your seller profile) 2. Apply resale credit towards your 2012-2013 season ticket renewal (resale credit cannot be applied towards the payment or balance of your 2011-12 Wizards full season ticket account). Once your posted tickets are purchased, the amount of the sale price is credited to your Wizards account, less a 10% seller fee. The barcodes on your sold tickets are cancelled and new barcodes are issued. The new tickets are then electronically delivered to the buyer via TicketFast® for at-home printing using any standard printer, without the hassle and delay of standard mail delivery. You will be notified via email if your tickets do not sell before your indicated expiration date. Your listing will be automatically removed and your original tickets will still be valid for entry. If you cannot attend the game, you also have the option of emailing your tickets to a friend via Ticket Forwarding. Sellers pay fees only when their posted tickets have sold. Buyers pay additional fees during the purchase process reflected in the listing price of the ticket. Additional buyer fees may also include an authentication and ticketFast® delivery fee.

Wizards community relations Wizards In Your Community
The entire organization -- from team owners to players, coaches and employees -is committed to investing time and resources to the communities that support us throughout the season. By providing assistance the following areas military, education, youth basketball, homelessness, and health and fitness in the DC Metropolitan Area, Wizards in Your Community hopes to inspire others to do the same.
Due to the overwhelming number of requests for donations each season, Monumental Sports & Entertainment created the Community Auction/Donation Program. Organizations are asked to send a letter of request to the Wizards Community Relations department on their organization’s letterhead. Organizations then receive a donation form for tickets to a specified Wizards game. These tickets can be used as raffle items, door prizes, or silent auction items. The Community Relations department makes autographed Wizards balls available for a donation of $100. This fee is donated to Wizards Care.
