WASHINGTON MYSTICS 2013 MEDIA GUIDE April 7, 2011 - The Mystics announce that the team has entered into a marquee partnership with Inova Health System. As part of the partnership, Mystics players will wear Inova Hospital System’s name and logo on the front of their home and away jerseys, shooting shirts and community apparel during the upcoming 2011 WNBA season.

February 27, 2013-Mystics acquires Kia Vaughn and a second round pick (17th overall) from the New York Liberty in exchange for their first round pick (seventh overall).

April 9, 2011 – Mystics acquire All-Star Nicky Anosike from the Minnesota Lynx

April 15, 2013- Mystics acquires Quanitra Hollingsworth from the New York Liberty in exchange for Washington’s third round pick (25th overall).

April 11, 2011 - The Mystics select Victoria Dunlap (Kentucky) with the 11th overall pick in the first round, Karima Christmas (Duke) with the 23rd overall pick in the second round, and Sara Krnjic (Serbia) with the 35th overall pick in the third round. April 11, 2011 - The Mystics acquire Ta’Shia Phillips and guard Kelly Miller from the Atlanta Dream in exchange for guard Lindsey Harding and the Mystics’ 2012 second round draft pick. Phillips (Xavier University) was selected 8th overall in the first round by the Dream.

March 16, 2013- Eric Thibault joined the Mystics as an assistant coach

April 15, 2013- Mystics select Tayler Hill in the first round (4th overall), Nadirah McKenith and Emma Meesseman with the 17th and 19th picks respectively in the second round of the 2013 WNBA draft May 14, 2013-Jessica Moore signed as a free agent May 15, 2013-Drey Mingo waived May 15, 2013-Natalie Novosel waived

April 29, 2011 – The Mystics acquire Jasmine Thomas from the Seattle Storm in a three-team trade. Washington will also receive Seattle’s 2012 first round pick and the Indiana Fever’s 2012 third round pick. The Seattle Storm acquired guard Katie Smith, center Jacinta Monroe and Indiana‘s 2012 second round pick while the Fever received guard Erin Phillips and Seattle’s 2012 third round pick. May 12, 2011-Kay Jewelers sign a multi-year partnership with the Mystics July 19, 2011-Crystal Langhorne named to the All-Star team August 10, 2011- General Manager/Head Coach Trudi Lacey announces that guard Alana Beard will be out for the rest of the season with a foot injury. August 31, 2011- General Manager/Head Coach Trudi Lacey announces that forward Monique Currie will return to action. January 17, 2012-Jennifer Gillom joins the Mystics coaching staff April 19, 2012-The Washington Mystics and Inova renew their marquee sponsorship April 24, 2012-The Washington Mystics announce their 15th anniversary celebration September 24, 2012- Trudi Lacey and the team decides to part ways September 26, 2012-Mystics to pick fourth in the 2013 WNBA Draft December 18, 2012-Mike Thibault is named the team’s head coach and general manager January 23, 2013- Marianne Stanley returns to the team as an assistant coach February 1, 2013-The Mystics sign free agent Ivory Latta February 19, 2013- Washington Mystics acquires the Atlanta Dream’s first and second round picks in the 2013 WNBA Draft (seventh and 19th overall) in exchange for guard Jasmine Thomas and Washington’s 13th pick.
