The Amateur Online Download by Edward Klein
Click Here to Download the Book It's amateur hour at the White House. So says New York Times bestselling author Edward Klein in his new political expose The Amateur. Tapping into the public's growing sentiment that President Obama is in over his head, The Amateur argues that Obama's toxic combination of incompetence and arrogance have run our nation and his presidency off the rails. "Obama was both completely inexperienced and ideologically far to the left of Americans when he entered the White House," says Klein. "And he was so arrogant that he didn't even know what he didn't know." Klein, who is known for getting the inside scoop on everyone from the Kennedys to the Clintons, reveals never-beforepublished details about the Obama administration's political inner workings and about Barack and Michelle's personal lives.
Reviews Not only should everyone who loves America read this book. but anyone who can't decide on who to vote for this November, READ THIS. It actually gave me nightmares because I fear what will happen to my beloved country if Obama is re-elected. Obama and his White House (run by Valerie Jarrett and company) is the most incompetent Administration in recent memory. Mr. Klein has done a tremendous job of revealing how this thinskinned, left winged socialist who has never held a real job except as a community organizer (a political placement), spent 7 unremarkable years in the Illinois Senate and two years as a US Senator where he spent all of it preparing to campaign for President. He has shown us he has no executive skills, unable to mediate, unable to unify or even control members of his own party. Where is the hope and change?? He lied about everything. And most damaging, Obama is trying to turn us into a European style social welfare state where the government will tax us to death, control everything, destroy all non-government businesses, pick the winners for their largesse. And once we are bankrupted like Greece, Spain, Italy, et al, the Obama's will quietly retire to some magnificent island somewhere while the country burn because they destroyed our country. Tell everyone to read this book.
The author pulls no punches right at the very beginning of this well-researched, very readable book (and by a former Editor of the New York Times Magazine, so no "right wing hack" he): "...my [1,000 pages of] transcribed notes [from nearly 200 interviews]...tell the story of a man who is at bottom temperamentally unsuited to be the chief executive and commander in chief of the United States of America. Here in these interviews we come face to face with something new in American politics -- The Amateur -- a president who is inept in the arts of management and governance, who doesn't learn from his mistakes, and who therefore repeats policies that make our economy less robust and our nation less safe. We discover a man who blames all his problems on those with whom he disagrees ("Washington," "Republicans," "the media"), who discards old friends and supporters when they are no longer useful (Democrats, AfricanAmericans, Jews), and who is so thin-skinned that he constantly complains about what people say and write about him. We come to know a strange kind of politician, one who derives no joy from the cut and thrust of politics, but who clings to the narcissistic life of the presidency."
Because so much of the information in the book is revealed now for the first time, The Amateur has the effect of revealing the great lengths to which the so-called mainstream media have gone to protect Obama. They have portrayed him as a "nice guy and family man" who golfs, has beer summits, sings as the "preezie" on MTV and is the smartest president ever. But what we see in these pages is the truth: a callow, shallow and dishonest man who got an easy ride to the top without ever having been truly vetted by the press; a man quick to dump loyal friends when they're no longer useful; a man with several chips on his shoulder and an obsession to get even; a deeply cynical and vindictive man, demeaning his office with constant streams of lies he knows will seldom if ever be fact-checked by the MSM. Finally, here is a book that blows away those carefully contrived and nursed PR myths. You'll find disturbing facts and stories here from those who know Obama best (to the extent it is possible to know this strange man) that will shock you in two ways: 1) "Wow, that is truly and amazingly terrible," and 2) "How come we didn't know any of this back in 2008, let alone now?" It's telling that the title for this book comes from Bill Clinton, who is reported in the book to have said before an audience he thought Obama was an amateur. Unfortunately, also a highly dangerous one. I think Barry Soetero or Barack Hussein Obama -- or whoever he is -- still shares the extreme-far-left view of his Chicago Weathermen terrorist friends Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn: that before you can fix the state you first have to smash it. In that effort he is succeeding mightily. Unlike 99% of journalists today, Edward Klein has done his homework. If you're on the fence about whom to vote for in November, I hope this book will give you "hope for change," even though the damage done by Obama in his first term may now be too great for anyone to reverse it.
