Additional Information: Used for meetings, gatherings and more, this space has direct access to an outdoor patio, overlooking Lake Mendota and the Terrace. Special care was taken to repair and restore this space’s floor, ornately painted ceilings and rich, wooden panel-lined walls while preserving the room’s original look.

Additional Information: The Profile Room, located on the second floor of Memorial Union, is a meeting space which overlooks Tripp Deck and Alumni Park.

Old Madison Room East & West | Third Floor

Additional Information: Murals depicting scenes of early Madison life line the walls of this room. The paintings have been carefully preserved, and the room’s original wood floor has been restored.

If your event requires special technology or enter tainment needs, we can accommodate them—each of our 17 meeting and ac tivity spaces is complete with integrated projection, sound and presentation systems. Need a refreshment break or elegant multicourse meal for your event? Wisconsin Union Catering can do it all. We also have several dining options throughout the building to accommodate your food service needs.

Conference Services Our certified one-stop-shop services include all aspects of planning support. For a nominal fee, our internal professional staff will assist you in making your conference a success with the following areas:

The Wisconsin Union is known as the heart and soul of the University of Wisconsin-Madison—the social, cultural and recreational center of campus. Comprised of two buildings—Memorial Union on the shore of Lake Mendota, and Union South neighbor to Camp Randall—the Union serves as a gathering place for students, faculty, staff, community members and visitors alike.
