The Palace, the only gay bar on Ocean Drive, has been a popular hotspot for South Beach locals and tourists for almost twenty-five years. Since its opening in 1988, the Palace has racked up quite a history with several owners. Three years ago the Palace experienced a transformation as new owner, Tom Donall took the reigns. Tom and his team have not only improved the Palace but have regularly given back to the community. Now the Palace has shows every night except for Tuesday and has once again become one of the hottest spots on Ocean Drive. Noel Leon has become one of Palace’s star performers and also acts as emcee. Noel hosts the shows twice a week: Elite Night on Wednesdays and the fabulous Sunday Brunchic. Originally from New Jersey, Noel came to Miami six years ago. Since Noel is one of the faces of the Palace, we thought Noel would be the ideal person to share some Palace news with Wire’s readers.
