Update On The Mural Project
Since 2013, we have been working on the North side of the museum that sits on the site of the original McDonald’s Restaurant in San Bernardino, located at the corner of 14th and E. Streets. This is becoming one of the most detailed murals on the planet and we plan to have it finished in time for the Veteran’s Day Parade in November 2014. Led by artist Phil Yeh, who had a vision of the entire San Bernardino County portrayed with important landmarks on Route 66, going through the county all the way to Los Angeles. Route 66 ends in Santa Monica, more than 2000 miles from its beginning in Chicago!
