REGISTRATION January 5 at 8am Winter Swim Lessons registration begins today at 8:00 AM online and at the L.P. Wilson Community Center. The lessons begin on Saturday, January 28 and continue each Saturday through March 18 then April 1-May 20 at the Windsor High School Indoor Pool. Lessons are held on Saturday for eight weeks. The fee is $40.00 per child per session. 11am-11:50am Stroke Development (level 3) Water Adjustment (11am-11:30am) Water Adjustment Adv. (11:30am-12pm) Parent/Tot (11:30am-12pm) 12pm-12:50pm Introduction to Water Skills (level 1) Stroke Refinement (level 5) 1pm-1:50pm Fundamental Aquatic Skills (level 2) Stroke Improvement (level 4) What better way to stay in shape this fall than swimming laps? Lap Swim will be held on Tuesdays at the Windsor High School indoor pool (share pool with lessons) from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Thursdays 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM March 7 through May 4. Register at the Recreation Office or online at townofwindsorct.com as we cannot accept money at the door. There is no lap swim on April 18 & 20. Lap swim is FREE for Windsor Residents, you must still register. The fee for Non-Residents is $55.00 for Tuesdays, $85.00 for Thursdays, or $90.00 for both days. Splish-Splash Special Needs Swim Lessons are available for persons ages 5 to 21 with developmental and/or cognitive impairments. The emphasis is on development of swimming skills and increasing range of motion through a total body workout on an individual basis. With a 1:1 teacher to student ratio, this class will boost confidence and enhance the swimming experience. Lessons are held on Tuesdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM March 7 through May 2 with no classes on April 18 at the Windsor High School indoor pool. Lessons are 30 minutes in length. Adult Learn to Swim: This program is designed for the adults that has not had any formal swim instruction or very little instruction, and is ready to take the plunge. The instructor is patient and works with everyone individually when ready for the next skill. Adults will learn basic level swimming and safety skills. Lessons are held at the Windsor High School Pool on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-6:30pm or 6:30pm-7pm from March 7 through May 2 (No Class on April 18). The fee is $60.00

April Break Vacation Camp April Break Vacation Camp April 10th— April 13th 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Located at 330 Windsor Ave. $25 per day, per child Students in grades 1st - 6th are invited spend their April Break with friends and Recreation Leaders! Campers will enjoy their vacation days filled with activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, fun, and much more! Campers must bring a bagged lunch, and bring sneakers. Snack is provided!

The Windsor School of Self Defense with Joe Jones offers an excellent physical and mental workout, increasing ones' coordination and flexibility. Whether your goal is to build selfconfidence, increase strength or just have fun, this class has something for everyone.Youth 5-18 are welcome to join. Friday, April 7, 2017 At 6:30pm Hop on down to the Town Green‌ for an Easter Egg Hunt in the dark. Bring the children and a flashlight to search for all the eggs and candy. All children the ages of 1-12 are welcome. Enjoy an evening filled with Joy, Arts and Crafts and Games. The festivities will start at 6:30pm. The Egg Hunt will begin at 7:30pm. Bring your own camera and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!!
