Welcome to the Windermere Centre! From the Director: This is your place! That isn’t just a slick slogan – it’s something that ought to be importantly true. It’s your place because the Windermere Centre is a Resource Centre for Learning for the whole of the United Reformed Church, and its job is to resource you and your church for mission. It’s your place because you pay for it through your M&M contributions. It’s your place because everything we do is done Lawrence Moore, with you in mind – providing a high quality Director of the Windermere Centre resource in terms of the content of courses, your comfort and enjoyment, the quality of the amenities, the welcome and the hospitality you will receive when you’re here. So whether you’re looking for a course to benefit you or your church, a venue for your get-together, committee or church weekend, or simply for a holiday spot in the beauty of the Lake District … it’s your place! How to get here: By car Windermere is easily accessible from the motorway system. It is 20 minutes from Junction 36 of the M6. By public transport Local trains run regularly from Windermere station to connect with the main Euston/West Coast line at Oxenholme. Windermere is also on the major long distance coach routes.
