Ella Britton Co-creating services
Emma Gasson is a Social Designer with over six years experience working on projects to tackle social challenges, at home and abroad. Working directly in communities to co-design and implement solutions, Emma has led projects tackling unemployment in Cornwall; homelessness in Los Angeles; health in Sri Lanka and child poverty in North London. Previously a Social Designer at thinkpublic, Emma has worked for clients included Nominet, the Design Council, Nesta, Marks and Spencer, Cornwall council and the Skills Funding Agency.
Ella is currently leading a programme with the Design Council developing new services to tackle health inequalities in the early years. With a Masters in Design Ella has a breadth of experience co-creating new services within the NHS, local authorities, commercial organisations, and communities across the UK. She has worked with The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for a number of years delivering design support and training to funded third-sector bodies. With a career that started off with the BBC, Ella brings a diverse range of experience to tackling complex social challenges.
