LOVE SPEAKS: Next week we begin our fall stewardship series Love Speaks. The love of Christ is so great and the blessings so amazing yet the door to heaven is so narrow. The reality is that those who believe in Jesus will be saved and those who don’t will be damned! The stakes are that high. Christ’s love compels us to speak precisely as we share his love so that everyone who hears may enter through the door of heaven. Join us in worship and Bible study as we begin this special emphasis. We pray for God’s blessings on our study together.

BIBLE CLASSES TO BEGIN: Pastor Wilsmann will begin his Wednesday morning Bible class on August 28th at 6:30 AM (This class will not last more than an hour. You are free to leave for work whenever you need to.) The Thursday evening Bible class will begin on August 29th at 7:00 PM. These two bible classes are identical so you only need to come to one. Everyone is invited to attend. We will be using the same format we used at the end of last year. That is, we will expand on last Sunday’s sermon with very little lecture and a lot of class discussion. We are starting early so that we can have a discussion about each of the sermons in our stewardship series. Our theme in two weeks is Love Speaks Precisely. Some will be saved and some will be damned. As the love of Christ flows out of us and speaks, we are compelled to speak precisely about our salvation through Christ since the door to heaven is narrow. There will be a joint social event in October after the series is completed.

LWMS: The Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is made up of mission minded women of WELS. Every women member of the congregation is a member of LWMS. We encourage you to learn about and pray for mission efforts of WELS. LWMS will have their meeting on Tuesday, August 20th, at church beginning at 7 pm with Leslie Weber as hostess.

Mark your calendars! Church
