They are located in the church narthex. - Tomorrow, April 21st, Pastor Wilsmann will be holding a practice session with the 8th grade confirmation class, both St. John and Public School, from 3:45 - 6:00 PM at church. Following this practice, he will have a cook out at his home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM with all the 8th graders along with the 6th & 7th graders from both St John School and the Public School Confirmation Class.
MISSION SERVICE: Please join St. John students on Thursday, April 24th, for a presentation on the Truth in Love Ministries during their last Mission service. The presentation will begin at 8:10 AM at church. Our fourth quarter school mission offerings will be going to this very important ministry. Everyone is welcome!
NO SCHOOL: St. John students will not have school on Monday, April 21st. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 22nd.
CONFIRMATION EXAMINATION: Confirmation Examination will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd. All 8th graders being confirmed on April 27th must be at church by 6:00 PM for pictures and the examination will begin at 7:00 PM.
CONFIRMATION SUNDAY: Confirmation will be held on Sunday, April 27th, during the 10:30 AM service. All 8th graders being confirmed must be in the choir room at school by 9:45 AM.
ST. JOHN’S SPRING CONCERT: Save the date! On Friday, May 2nd, students from St. John school will present their play, “A Kid’s Life”. A dress rehearsal will be held at 1:00 PM and is open to the public. The evening concert will begin at 6:30 PM. Refreshments will follow the 6:30 PM concert in the cafeteria.
RETIREE MEAL: The retiree meal at St. John school will be Friday, May 2nd, at 12 noon (prior to the 1:00 PM Spring Concert). Please note the new time! Turkey will be served. Please RSVP at 920-478-2707 by Friday, April 25th.
PARENTS & HIGH SCHOOL AGE STUDENTS WANTED: We are looking for musicians, high school age and up, to join the Wildcat Band for a few Spring Concert songs for the concert on May 2nd. EVERYONE (YOUNG AND OLD) IS INVITED!: On Wed., May 28th, the Fellowship Committee along with the TLC Youth Group will be hosting a Mallards game. Game time is 7:05 PM at the Duck Pond in Madison. The group rate for “Ticket and a Hat” is $10. We only have 60 tickets. You must RSVP by May 13th because any unsold tickets must be returned by the 14th! Payment is due by the 13th. Checks can be made payable to “St. John Fellowship”. LAKESIDE LUTHERAN’S SPRING PLAY: Reserve your tickets now for a crowd pleasing spring 2014 interactive play by William Gleason, The Clumsy Custard Horror Show (& Ice Cream Clone Review), under the direction of Pastors Clark Schultz, Mark Toepel and student Victoria Lober at Lakeside. This year’s stage performance features a cast of talented student actors and incorporates audience interaction to provide engaging excitement for all ages. Performances are 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, April 25-26. Order forms are due back on April 28th. The pick-up date has been tentatively set for Wednesday, May 14th.
