EXPERIENCE SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER | 03.2021 - 05.2023 DESIGN ENGINEER I 09.2017-03.2021 DYSON LTD WEARABLES NEW PRODUCT INNOVATION Helped develop the Dyson Zone where core responsibility was understanding ‘Comfort’ with additional ownership of sustainability targets. Accelerated the development process by taking the subjective variable and establishing objective methodologies to generate and measure product requirements. Helped to build the rapidly growing team by agilely adapting skill sets, including line managing new employees, utilising Life Cycle Analysis and facilitating brainstorms to stimulate new concept generation. Collaborated with the UX team to establish digital features and eco-system requirements. DYSON LTD LIGHTING NEW PRODUCT INNOVATION The Lighting Design team specialised in fully integrated prototypes with novel lens systems and smart control. These explored how lighting could affect our circadian rhythms. Responsible for close co-ordination with the Industrial design team, GA management and developing next-gen heatsinks using FEA. Successfully presented the Dyson Lightcycle Morph at publishing houses across Germany on a week long tour. PRODUCT DESIGNER | 08.2015 - 08.2016 LIFEMARQUE LTD OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT SECTOR Concept to manufacture of textile based outdoor products. Assisted with Bivy Bag design for military contracts and rucksacks for the LittleLife brand, all developed in collaboration with specialist manufacturers in China. Led a refresh of the Mountain Paws range with new branding and a ground up redesign of the entire line of rugged outdoor equipment for dogs.
