Services Our services are a part of the support network that is helping older adults to live at home safely and independently. We can assist you with providing information, support and access to other resources. We want to help our participants maintain maximum independence by removing individual and social barriers to personal independence.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES (Ages 50+) Available for use during programs. Please request 24 hours in advance.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS (Ages 50+) Local retired nurses provide weekly checks and education.

FOOT CARE (Ages 50+) Ongoing Registered nurse provides basic foot care for individuals who have limited ability to care for their feet or who may pose a special risk. Foot-care nurses will trim nails and give recommendations on treatment.

LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LIHEAP) (Ages 60+) Federal assistance program that helps qualified individuals receive support with paying their energy bills.

SENIOR HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFIT ASSISTANCE (SHIBA) (Ages 50+) Counselors help you navigate Medicare information. Topics include new to Medicare, Part D drug coverage, Medicare Advantage Plans, and other Medicare options. They also assist with billing issues and/or possible fraud. Sponsored by Willamalane Park and Recreation District. For appointment, call 541-736-4421.
