Receivers Coach

Jesse enters his sixth season as a coach with the Golden Hawks and this year he will hold the rold of linebackers coach. A two-time CIS All-Canadian and OUA First Team All-Star during his playing days, Jesse was a key member of the 2005 Vanier Cup winning squad. Jesse was named to Laurier’s Team of the Century following his playing career and in 2011, he was inducted into the Golden Hawks Hall of Fame.

Anthony Cannon Anthony joins the Hawks coaching

One year removed from his playing days, Mark joins Laurier’s coaching staff as a receivers coach. A member of the 2009 Queen’s Gaels Vanier Cup Championship squad, Mark finished his career at Laurier, playing in 16 games and making 43 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns.

Ryan Lynch Ryan returns for his fourth season as a

Rob’s first coaching experience with the Hawks was when Laurier captured their first national championship back in 1991. He also served as the Hawks’ receivers coach in 1996 and with special teams in 1998.

Wally Gabler Wally returns to the Hawks’ coaching

staff for the first time since 2005. Currently serving as Laurier’s Interuniversity Sport Coordinator, Wally helped lead the purple and gold to the 2005 Vanier Cup Championship when he served as the team’s special teams coordinator and quarterback coach.
