National Guard Judge Advocate to Attend Midwinter Free Assistance Provided for Critical Estate Planning Documents!
The Wisconsin National Guard’s Judge Advocate Office will be represented at the Department Midwinter Conference on Saturday, January 17th. They will provide assistance in creating simple Wills and Power of Attorney documents at no charge. Preliminary briefings will take place at 10 AM and 2 PM in Lower Dells B. The briefings will provide
a brief overview of wills, powers of attorney and living wills and last approximately ten minutes each. The briefings complement presentations made by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and emphasize the importance of a Living Will with specialized language to ensure that it is adequate for admission into the Wisconsin Veterans

After each briefing, members of the Judge Advocate’s staff will be available to meet privately and draft powers of attorney and living will documents as well as simple wills.
