Need a special stocking stuffer? With plush animals, shirts, face masks, jewelry, and drinkware, you can find a gift for everyone at the WNC Nature Center Gift Shop! Gifts at every price point. Orders placed by December 16 will be shipped USPS Priority Mail on December 18.

ADOPT AN ANIMAL The Gift of Friendship www.wildwnc.org/adopt Are you looking for the perfect gift for an animal lover? From wolves to otters to red pandas, there’s an animal for everyone on your list! Your gift recipient will receive an adoption certificate, a photograph of their adopted animal, an animal fact sheet, and a plush animal and guest passes at our higher adoption levels.

Spread some holiday cheer with a little help from our red pandas, deer, goats, sheep, snakes, and turtles! Our animal keepers will film a customized video with your special message and animal of choice! Animal grams are $25 each. Orders must be received by December 15 for Christmas Day delivery.

Butterfly Exhibit

We’re excited to share our next project, coming in 2022! The WNC Nature Center will be adding a permanent butterfly exhibit, complete with pollinator gardens and an immersive experience for guests! Email outreach@wildwnc.org to be added to the list for future project and fundraising updates. Friends Mission: The Friends are a vital partner with the WNC Nature Center. With their donors and members, the Friends enrich the Nature Center’s mission to connect people with the plants and animals of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
