Wild Dog Productions has been producing commercials, corporates, and long form wildlife, historical and social documentaries for twenty years. Our broadcast clients include National Geographic Channel, Discovery/Animal Planet, Sky, KykNet, M-Net, NHK, and many other broadcasters worldwide. We have won seven international awards for our long-form productions.
Locally, our commercial and corporate productions have spanned a wide range of clients, including Standard Bank, Eye of Africa Signature Estates, Oprah Winfrey, Uretek Geo Systems, Medscheme, Pierre Cardin, Subaru, FNB, Lego, Reebok, and more.
We provide full production services, including 4K production cameras and edit suites, through to remote production facilitation services, including fully rigged long range, Landcruisers, cast and crew camps, generators, et al.
We also provide a location search, and a hire service for grips, lighting, camera, and vehicles, where needed.
Wild Dog is headed by Robert Waldron as writer/director, and his partner, Thelma Roos, head of Graphics and VFX.
Our capabilities include directing, scriptwriting, editing, colourising, graphics, multiple VFX, (specialising in explosions,and pyro). We also plan and co-ordinate live pyro and explosives, and special effects make-up, and period wardrobe where required.
We have extensive green screen experience with explosions, crowd multiplication, actors being shot and wounded, etc.
We have considerable underwater experience (Ocean and Freshwater) and gear.
Our 4K drone footage is a feature of many of our recent productions, and we own and fly our own drones.
Working with wild animals under controlled conditions for shoots has long been a specialist area of ours, as well.
