1st & 3rd Saturday of Each Month 2-3 p.m. 2nd & 4th Tuesday of Each Month 6:30-7:30 p.m. This program allows your child to read aloud to a dog for 5-7 minutes. Children must be accompanied by an adult and not have any allergies to dogs. Permission slip must be signed by parent/guardian and presented at the program. Ages 4-12

Molly MacGregor, from Once Upon a Time, is bringing the Story Sack to the Wicomico Public Library-Downtown Branch the third Saturday of each month. What’s in a Story Sack? You’ll have to come and see. A free book for each child who is there. All ages.
INDIE LENS POP-UP FILM: BEDLAM Tuesday, March 10 6-7:30 p.m.
Filmmaker and practicing psychiatrist, Ken Rosenberg visits ERs, jails, and homeless camps to examine our national mental health crisis. Rosenberg follows the poignant stories of people grappling with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other chronic psychiatric conditions, whose silence and shame often worsen the suffering. Adults.

GREENFEST & STORYWALK 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
GreenFest is the City of Salisbury’s annual celebration of the environment, located at the downtown Amphitheater. Featuring yoga, environmental organizations, green businesses, giveaways, and kids activites. This year the Library will debut it’s first StoryWalk @ GreenFest. Families can walk by the River and read an environmentally-themed story while enjoying being outdoors. GreenFest is a free event for the whole family! Come learn about how you can help the environment, enjoy a StoryWalk, and meet some of your local environmental champions. All are welcome.
FILM SCREENING & DISCUSSION: “HIGH TIDE IN DORCHESTER” 7-9 p.m. Produced locally by Tom Horton, Sandy Cannon-Brown, and Dave Harp, “High Tide in Dorchester”, aims to “foster a conversation about climate change and related impacts of sea level rise and erosion, and leverage that conversation into action...Dorchester is the coal miner’s canary; ground zero for the Chesapeake Region.” Tom Horton will be present to introduce the film and provide discussion.
