Wright-Patterson Mah Jongg

1st Contact: Elaine Eaton, 297-9270, Email: magicbunny@ cox.net Purpose: Wright-Patterson Mah Jongg is one of several variations of the ancient Chinese tile game. The game is played in the same general way with the same tile set for all variations. Only the rules and procedures differ. WrightPatterson rules provide the most interesting and challenging game. Each player plays as an individual at tables of three or four. Those who have played another form of the game can usually blend in after a session or two. This is fun and challenging, something new and different. Membership: There are no fees, but each player usually has a personal copy of the Wright-Patterson Rule Book. This book contains the rules, all the different hands that can be played and the method of scoring. The books can be obtained directly from Wright-Patterson or at the club for $5.00 each. Meetings: The club meets at the Las Campanas Recreation Center, Ironwood Room, each Tuesday from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
