WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
• Eligibility is based on your family’s income, NOT your child’s grades
• You must be a current D.C. resident • Your child must be 5 years old by September 30th • You currently receive SNAP benefits or meet income eligibility guidelines
• The scholarship may be used for tuition, public transportation, and other school fees (books, uniforms, etc.) • Choose from 50+ D.C. private schools in all wards • Apply for all of your children!
D.C. Opportunity Scholarships will not affect your family’s eligibility to receive other benefits — it’s the law!
