WHO-RAY! APPLICATION FORM and Guidance Notes

GENERAL GUIDANCE NOTES FOR YOUR APPLICATION FORM: It is important that you give a potential employer good first impressions, as your application form is your foot into the door of what could be a great working experience. 1 Practice writing your answers on a blank piece of paper before completing the application form to help avoid making mistakes. Mistakes on the form will not impress an employer. 2 Complete the application form in black ink and use CAPITAL letters. 3 Answer all the questions giving specific information that is relevant to the job you are applying for, avoid the use of ‘not applicable’ or n/a. 4 You should take a photocopy of your completed form as this may be a useful reminder should you be invited for an interview. 5 If you have any difficulty completing this application form, your local Job Centre Plus office (or Jobcentre) can assist you.
