THE LAST STAND IS A FILM THAT REVEALS THE GLORIOUS HISTORY OF CHRISTIAN RESISTANCE AGAINST SOME OF THE VERY SAME EVILS WE’RE FACING TODAY - BUT ALSO THE INSPIRING STORIES OF HOW THAT RESISTANCE LAID THE FOUNDATIONS FOR RENEWAL AND REFORMATION. EQUIPPING THE CHURCH TO UNDERSTAND THE TIMES, RESIST EVIL, AND MAKE A LAST STAND AGAINST THE CULTURE OF DEATH, WHILE CASTING A VISION OF HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.

The Problem Since the beginning, there has been an agenda to destroy the seed of the woman.

We are in a war, and most Christians don’t know it.

We’ve forgotten what we were made for.

The Solution We pull back the curtain on this transcendent war to awaken the Church to their ancient calling and enlist believers in the fight for life.

WE’VE FORGOTTEN WHO WE ARE Psalm 88:12 teaches us that righteousness cannot be done in a land of forgetfulness. Today, the Church is rife with forgetfulness.

Christianity is the pro-life movement, and the pro-life movement historically has been solely, simply, and exclusively, the Christian faith.

We often think that transgenderism, abortion, euthanasia, the sexualization of our children, AND the hyper sexualization of popular culture are new issues. They’re not. The only reason they’re new to us is because we don’t know our history.

Every single great hero of the faith through the ages were all fighting this battle that is before us now. If Western Civilization is to survive, this is our LAST STAND. This is the frontlines of the battlefield.

This is the tip of the spear.

The pro-life movement didn’t have its origin in 1973 and Roe v Wade. That’s just a benchmark along the way of a very long journey. The truth is, the pro-life movement began at the cross of the Lord Jesus, and all of history has been a battle for life ever since.

All of it is one battle. There have been different episodes along the way, and various moments where Christians have prevailed, but then Christians, often in the midst of their prosperity and their victory, fall asleep and the old foes resurrect.

The old foes have indeed resurrected today.

There’s nothing new about that. The only thing that is relatively new is the silence and forgetfulness of today’s American Church. It’s time to change that!

“MY PEOPLE ARE BEING DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.” —HOSEA 4:6 There was a time when the pastor was the most learned man in the community. As such, the laity to whom he preached had a deep understanding of history, the good and the bad. There was a time when God’s people built altars and created high holy days to REMEMBER what happened, to ensure their children and grandchildren did NOT forget. That is not the case today.

We are being destroyed for lack of knowledge.

We are in a season of THE LAST STAND. To end abortion and save Western Civilization, we must wake up the Church. To wake up the Church, we must remember what we’ve forgotten.

WHY THE LAST STAND MATTERS In the penultimate Narnia book, The Silver Chair, Aslan gives Jill Pole an assignment. And to guide her, he gives her 4 signs that will help her fulfill her assignment. Before sending her off, Aslan urges Jill to REMEMBER the signs he has given her and to say them to herself morning and night. Why? Because when she leaves the clarity of Aslan’s mountain and descends down into Narnia, the air will thicken and her mind will start to forget the signs. That is why, as Aslan says, she must know them by heart. But she inevitably forgets some and gets herself and her friends into much trouble because of it.

Like Jill Pole, we have failed to recognize the signs of our times. We have forgotten what to look for.

We have missed the warnings right in front of us.

And we’re in a lot of trouble in America because of it.

After 1,000+ screenings of The 1916 Project across the country and millions of views from our premiere on X (formerly Twitter), we found viewers’ favorite thing about the film was the history lesson and the story of Sophie Scholl. Why? Because they never knew how evil the history of Planned Parenthood is and had never heard the amazing story of a 21-year old Christian girl standing against the culture of death in Nazi Germany. Francis Schaeffer said “the ignorance of the Church is more dangerous for a culture than the decadence of the world.” Indeed.

One of the reasons the Church is so soft and ineffective today is because of Her ignorance. We simply don’t know that every single great hero of the faith through the ages were all battling the same battle that is before us now. Their stories, their courage, and their witness are part of Church history; our history. We cannot reestablish righteousness in a land of forgetfulness. Like Pan in Hook, we must remember who we are before we can save the children.

The Last Stand film will reveal the glorious history of Christian resistance against some of the very same evils we’re facing today - but also the inspiring stories of how that resistance laid the foundations for renewal and reformation.

This project will equip the Church to understand the times, resist evil, and make a LAST STAND against the culture of death, while casting a vision of hope for the future

TAKING BACK JUNE FOR LIF Not only did Roe v. Wade get overturned during what has come to be known as “pride” month, but it was also overturned on the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, June 24th. In the Church calendar, the Nativity of St. John the Baptist is when Christians remember and celebrate Mary going to visit her cousin Elizabeth.

As we well know, during that meeting, the pre-born John leaps in his mother’s womb at the recognition of his Savior and Creator who was also located in a womb. Roe v. Wade was overturned on the day Christians celebrate two unborn babies, one of whom was God Himself !

We declare that June is LIFE MONTH, not PRIDE month. We commit to REMEMBER what God did on June 24th. We may not build altars anymore, but we will build this event for the same reasons our spiritual fathers built their altars: to remember and not forget and commit ourselves to the work of the Kingdom! If the Kingdom of God “Belongs to such as these” (children), then surely our commitment to protecting children is a test of our commitment to the Kingdom.
