GROWING STRONGER TOGETHER

White Rock YMCA

Fall/Winter Program Guide

Membership

What an exciting summer we had this year! Over 12,000 members took advantage of Group Ex classes, our workout facilities, and summer programs. Our mission is to put Christian values into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. This is what our staff strives for every day and is what makes the White Rock YMCA such an important part of this community. This year, with the help of nearly 100 passionate volunteers, we raised more than $234,000 for our Annual Campaign. We use these funds to provide important community programs and educational classes to everyone in our community no matter their socioeconomic background. No one is turned away due to the inability to pay. I grew up going to the YMCA in Iowa and have made the YMCA mission my personal life goal. No matter where I am, or who I talk to, I am always amazed at the stories that people tell me about their experience at the Y. Memories made at the YMCA last a lifetime. I encourage you to take advantage of all the amazing perks of having a membership at the Y: group exercise classes, ChildWatch, our fitness facility, and discounted rates on our camps, classes, and other programs.

Mission Statement The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian values into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Financial Assistance At the Y, no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. In keeping with our mission, the White Rock Y offers financial assistance and income-based memberships to those who qualify, based on a sliding scale. Anyone can apply to receive financial support through the Y For All program. Eligibility is determined on an individual basis. For financial assistance information, contact: Marla Sone, Membership Coordinator msone@ymcadallas.org

On behalf of the White Rock YMCA Board of Management, volunteers, and staff, I want to personally thank you for your membership and being part of the YMCA family! Eric Schenkelberg Vice President of Operations 2
