The USDA Food Pyramid recommends two servings of fruit per day for a healthy adult diet. The Kiwanis Club is here to help! The Club will hold its annual Florida Fruit Sale thru Fri Nov 20. Purchase a high quality 20-pound box of navel oranges, Ruby Red grapefruit, tangelos, or a mixed box of oranges and grapefruit for $17. Also available are 23- to 25-pound mixed boxes of apples, oranges, and grapefruit or tangelos, oranges, and grapefruit for $23 per box. The expected delivery date is Tue Dec 15. Each year, Santa fills his sack and makes time for a visit to the Mabel Kay Center right before Christmas. Every guest will receive a gift from St Nick. Teen Movie Night – sponsored by the Public Library, Friends of the Library, and the Board of Education – will continue with a viewing of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Fri Nov 6 at 6:30pm in the Library.
