Other things is that when you have a conversation with other people like on the phone or in person while the tv is turned on (when the tv is on meaning your cable box is turned on too). If you are having conversation, then this means that you are not concentrating on what you are watching. So just turn it off for awhile until you are done talking. Some people just minimize the volume, so how about turning it off? This will save money, and of course save energy. Watch out for your bad habits when watching television because this would affect on your bill when you receive it for like once a month. And of course turn off your cable box once your TV is off, the thing is that some people are just too lazy to turn off two things at the same time. Having a cable box means you have two remotes from your tv and cable box. So just make it a habit, because this is not just for everyone, this is for you to save your money and energy.
