LOWE’S AND REBUILDING TOGETHER

Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together’s unique partnership engages employees to improve communities in which they live and work, strengthening and stabilizing neighborhoods throughout the country.

Lowe’s dedication to homeowners and investment in future generations has aligned itself with Rebuilding Together’s mission.

Which has rebuilt communities.

Since 2007, the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has donated $4.4 million to Rebuilding Together programs.

Nearly 550 homes have been rebuilt nationwide.

Lowe’s projects focus on a variety of home needs, including: weatherization and energy efficient modifications.

Lowe’s supports Rebuilding Together’s CapacityCorps, building the next generation of service leaders.

Currently, 65 AmeriCorps members are serving with 33 Rebuilding Together affiliates.

Over 10,000 individuals have been assisted by 1,400 Lowe’s employee volunteers, delivering a cumulative of $10.7 million in market value.

Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together have advanced the success of their partnership to build a successful “community revitalization” platform.

Focus has expanded to the needs of community youth, partnering with Carter’s Kids to promote the health and welfare of future generations.

In 2011, Lowe’s, Rebuilding Together and Carter’s Kids will build six playgrounds across the country for communities in-need.
