Opportunities to Serve GROCERY CART MINISTRY Each month we are collecting certain items for our Food Pantry. For the month of August we are collecting CANNED CORN AND SMALL CANS OF FRUIT. SUMMER MISSION PROJECT Next Sunday, August 19th, we will distribute the backpacks with the school supplies from 12 noon until 2 pm. The backpacks have been assembled. Your help will be greatly appreciated with the distribution. If you know a family in need, you can let them know about this outreach.

Starting in September, Pastor Greg will begin a sermon series that looks at the Promises of God. Topics will include Godâ€™s love, grace, compassion, forgiveness, and many others. This series will explore the heart of God.
Sunday School classes ARE BEING HELD for K thru th grade as Pastor Greg does a parenting class this summer. Tyler McCauley is teaching this class.

SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES There is an opportunity for the people of WYCOB to help offset the cost of printing the bulletin each week or the newsletter each month. For $10.00 you can sponsor the bulletin for 1 week; or for $15.00 you can sponsor the newsletter for 1 month. Also, you can provide flowers for on the altar for our worship service on a Sunday morning. The Child Education Center has openings for the 2018-2019 school year in the Tuesday/ Thursday 3-Year Old class and the Monday/Wednesday 4-year old class. If you know of a child in those age groups, please let them know of our preschool and have them contact the church office or on our website at www.westyorkcob.org. All three centers need paper goods - paper towels, Kleenex, wipes, toilet paper, paper plates, copying paper and construction paper. When these items are donated, the money that is saved goes to providing services for the children. There is a CAS box in the narthex where you may place your donations, or you can drop them off at the Lehman Center in York or the Nicarry Center in New Oxford.
