BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST………………………………………………..…………….………..Rylan Schafer *INVOCATION AND LORD’S PRAYER

God of cleansing waters and purifying fire, touch our lives today to recall us to the power of our baptism and reconfirm our commitment to Jesus Christ. Name us again as your own people: precious, gifted, created to glorify you in fullness of life, in peace with ourselves and one another. Send your Holy Spirit once more to energize our worship and enliven our witness in the world. Hear us as we pray for one another and for your church in every place. We ask these in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray, saying, “Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever.” Amen
