The first expansion phase at Westminster Manor, a nonprofit home for seniors in Central Austin, is finished. to the neighborhood, and to the city of Austin, which has become one of the top retirement destinations in the nation,” said Beverly Boyd, an ambassador with Austin Chamber of Commerce . Westminster Manor, founded more than 40 years ago, is in the midst of a $100 million plan to double in size, adding 75 apartments, plus other amenities. Once complete, the community — which houses about 370 people — will be able to add more than 100 residents.
