Keramiekmuseum Princessehof Beautiful city palace
De mooiste keramiek vind je verzameld in het Princessehof. Het museum is na een grondige verbouwing in 2017 heropend. Keizerlijk porselein uit China, een rijke verzameling art-nouveau en het iconische Delfts Blauw laten in de nieuwe presentatie Van oost en west zien dat keramiek van alle tijden is en van iedereen. Bovendien presenteert het museum continu vier eigentijdse expo’s van hedendaagse kunstenaars. Het museum is gevestigd in het 18de-eeuwse stadspaleis van Maria Louise van Hessen Kassei, prinses van Oranje Nassau, voorouder van onze huidige koning.
The most beautiful and precious ceramics are gathered together in the Princessehof. The museum was re-opened in 2017 following a complete renovation. Imperial porcelain from China, a rich collection of art-nouveau and the iconic ‘Delft blue’: in the new presentation ‘From East and West’ you’ll discover that the use of ceramics dates from all time periods and for everybody. The museum also presents four exhibitions from contemporary artists. The museum is located in the 18th century city palace of Maria Louise van Hessen-Kassei, ancestor to the current King of The Netherlands.
