The Millers Bar, Brighouse, is one of Yorkshire’s rising stars after seeing £300,000 of investment since opening in 2014. The Saddle Room is a restaurant coverted from race horse stables featuring a fabulous bar area - both offering a quality menu. Situated next to The Forbidden Corner which is a very large tourist attraction in the dales. We brew award-winning real ales in a converted barn on our arable farm high on the Yorkshire Wolds. Tucked up on beautiful Stonegate is The Yorkshire Terrier, named after York Brewery’s first ever brew. In 1858 Timothy Taylor began brewing beer in Keighley. He struck upon a successful formula and in 1863 set up and built a larger brewery at Knowle Spring, where the company has remained ever since. The brewery remains in the Taylor family and is now the last independent brewery of its type left in West Yorkshire.
