Ancient Spanish Monastery

Built in Spain during 1133-1141, then moved to Miami in 1925 after William Randolph Hearst purchased the cloisters and the monastery’s outbuildings. Open Mon.-Thurs., 10am-4pm; Fri.-Sun., please call for hours, as the monastery hosts many special events. Tours available on most days from 10am-4:30pm. Coopertown Airboats

Deering Estate at Cutler

Located along Biscayne Bay, the 444-acre estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Daily tours of the historic Richmond Cottage and Stone House are offered at 10:30am and 3pm, and are free with paid admission. A variety of EcoAdventure Tours and private tours available for an additional fee; please call for details. Free parking. Open daily, 10am-5pm; closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Dolphin Harbor at miami Seaquarium


They’re fast, fun and love to make new friends! They’re the dolphins at Miami Seaquarium. Join them for an unforgettable and fun-filled Dolphin Odyssey and Dolphin Encounter! Everglades Holiday Park

Everglades Holiday Park is home to the “Gator Boys” of Animal Planet TV fame, with most episodes filmed right at the park! Take an exciting airboat ride deep into the Florida Everglades to observe alligators and other wildlife in their natural habitat. These tours are the longest in the Everglades and include an alligator presentation in the Gator Boys’ world-famous pit.
