An exciting Project for our community! We are extremely fortunate to be able to engage with local carver James Tapiata, to design a stunning carving (maihi) to frame and highlight the building of our new learning centre down by the courts. James has made an amazing start to the project and we are getting close to completion. There will be an opportunity for some of our boys to visit Mr Tapiata next week with Mr House to support in the carving and learn some skills. Although this will not be up on the building for the grand opening we will have a special ceremony for the community when it is completed and on the building. Thanks for you hard work James and those who have already contributed to this beautiful carving. We are so excited to see it!
