Amongst TAV Dental’s leading products is the ZrO2 Zirconia abutments line, produced using CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding) technology that replaces the traditional CNC production method. CIM technology offers significant advantages: Accurate and Consistent Dimensions The traditional CAD/CAM machining process has certain limitations for reaching the exact required geometry (e.g., undercuts and angled holes). With the CIM process, it is easy to achieve the precise desired geometry. Furthermore, the required dimensions and surface texture of molded products are consistent, repeatable and controllable.
Custom-Made Products TAV Dental uses its expertise in surface processing and experience in the production of ceramic components to develop customized solutions, and to share its technological capabilities and innovations with interested companies who bring their own specific implants design.
Sturdy Products The traditional CAD/CAM machining process tends to create microcracks in the machined parts, which can increase the risk of breakage. The CIM process creates a stronger, more robust and devoid of porosity product.
Compatibility with All Implant Connections While our abutments are designed according to the common 2.41 mm internal hex, they can easily be modified in order to be assembled on any type of implant geometry, ensuring a perfect fit.
Flexibility in Product Design The CIM technology enables nearly unlimited design and manufacturing flexibility.
Mass Production The Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) process enables serial production of large volumes.

TAV Dental specializes in the development of additional unique and innovative products, such as temporary PEEK products. The PEEK has superior combination of strength, stiffness and toughness making it ideally suited for dental applications.
