On social media such as Facebook, people are sharing posts that garlic can cure COVID-19. Recently, South China Morning Post even reported that a woman came to hospital for an inflamed throat after in-taking 1.5kg of raw garlic. However, there is no proven evidence that garlic has any effect on coronavirus.
