Each of the horses had a sad story explaining their presence there, and my heart broke for all of them. But once again, none of them seemed like â€œThe Oneâ€? for us. And then we saw him. A tall, lanky, dark brown gelding, being led by another volunteer. For reasons I canâ€™t explain, I was immediately drawn to him, and so was my daughter. It was indeed love at first sight. I asked the other volunteer if I could lead him, and she willingly turned
