The new blue box can be used for containers like plastic bottles and tubs, cartons and drink boxes, metal cans and glass bottles and jars. Keep using your existing blue box for paper and cardboard recyclables. We have also improved our recycling program to accept more plastics (#1 to 7), aerosols and cardboard cans.

Notice Of Intention To Pass A By-Law To Change Building Permit Fees TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to section 7 of the Building Code Act, 1992, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Central Elgin intends to pass a by-law to change certain fees imposed for applications for a building permit at its meeting of Monday, June 25, 2012.
