ANCHORAGE - Three shopping events have been scheduled at the Dena’ina Center. The first is the Holiday Food and Gift Festival Nov. 2 - 3. It is a fun and family oriented event featuring a wide variety of unique gifts, handmade arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, bath products, home decor, gourmet food and so much more. Hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday. The Christmas Arts and Crafts Emporium is Nov. 23-24. Hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday. This premier showcase allows Alaskan artists and crafters to display and sell their products during the holiday season. Gingerbread Showcase brings together professional and amateur bakers from Anchorage and highlights their creativity, while supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity Anchorage. During the Christmas Arts & Crafts Emporium, the Gingerbread creation receiving the most public votes will receive the coveted People’s Choice

award. The Christmas Village is one of the newest holiday shows in Alaska on Dec. 14 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Village allows both Alaskan-made and imported items to be sold at the show. Door prizes will be awarded every hour. With over 135 vendors, you’re sure to find a great gift for anyone on your list. Do you like to travel? Do you like FREE?
