LEXINGTON - The Lexington Legends are inviting fans to the Kentucky Ale Taproom at Whitaker Bank Ballpark for the Legends third annual Winter Bash 2013, an evening of fun that will support the Kentucky and Southern Indiana chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. hours. Buchanan, a former Major League player now in his third year as a manager in the Kansas City Royals organization, will meet with fans and will be available for photos and autographs. The Legends will play their first season as a Royals affiliate in 2013. A silent auction will include a George Brett jersey signed by the baseball Hall of Famer, who is Page 10

now Vice President of Baseball operations for the Royals. A baseball signed by Brett also will be in the auction, as will jerseys, bats and batting helmets signed by current Royals Billy Butler, Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas, and a baseball and bat signed by the Royals Alex Gordon. Television screens throughout the Kentucky Ale Taproom will allow guests to follow Kentucky's basketball game at Auburn. The game begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. Hors d'oeuvres will be available and an open bar will feature a variety of beers and wine.
