M Anglo-American collaboration. After producing the second album by Phantom Limb in 2012, Ford asked the English band’s Stew Jackson to return the favour. In sessions at Rockfield studios in Wales and the Shed in Bath, with his fellow Limb members, he helped Ford create this new career landmark. Ford’s wife Kirsten contributes vocals, and his son Elijah, who’s been working with Jackson on his own album project, adds guitars.

ulti-award-winning singer songwriter Emmylou Harris was discovered while performing in a Washington DC coffeehouse by former Byrds member Chris Hillman, who recommended her to Gram Parsons for his first solo album, GP. After touring with Parsons’ band, the two recorded an album together entitled Grievous Angel, before Parsons’ untimely death in 1973. Harris’ musical response to his death was Boulder to Birmingham, which has become one of her best-loved songs and a country classic. Over her 40-year career, Harris has garnered a whopping 13 Grammy Awards and worked with such legendary artists as Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, The Band, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young, to name but a few. A rare UK appearance from a true country icon.
