From the bride, Brittany: WHY PURGATORY RESORT We met at Purg and got engaged at Purg. Purgatory will always have such a special place in our hearts… we just knew we had to get married there and keep our Purg love story going strong. THE CEREMONY My dad and brother made our arch from aspen trees they found around the yard. The aisle was lined with a blush sequin runner and gorgeous rose petals. The ceremony was short and sweet. We didn’t want anything too long or drawn out. My brother told the story of how we met and talked about the love we have for each other. We said our vows, kissed and that was it! THE RECEPTION DÉCOR The tables were draped in black satin floor length linens with a blush pintuck linen on top. They were adorned with a combination of large black trumpet vases, vintage mercury gold vases, gold candlesticks, black candelabras, rose petals and candles. 76

There are so many small things that you forget about it if you don’t take notes and keep track. Also, give yourself at least nine months to plan and enjoy it!
