What will be different with this one? Do I need to choose? Can I refer you someone who I'm thinking of hiring so I am able to see how they work before I commit? Why should I attend (sorry if it sounds rude) when there are other options for events? What does the $15 ticket include? What time does the event begin? Are kids welcome? This still doesn't make sense. How do I meet potential wedding vendors? This sounds like a theater production...or am I way off? How much is parking? I am planning a smaller wedding. Is this event for higher budget weddings? I'm gay. Can I come? Who should I bring? I have no idea where to begin with my planning so this seems overwhelming. What do I wear? A party? Like, dinner, dancing and socializing? Q: I'm already attending a bridal show. What will be different with this one? Do I need to choose? A: There is no right way to go about meeting wedding professionals. We can assure you that you will experience something completely different at the Wedding Preview Event. It's not cookie-cutter, it's not intimidating and you WILL have a good time. Q: Can I refer you someone who I'm thinking of hiring so I am able to see how they work before I commit? A: Absolutely! You may refer anyone you'd like but be sure to get their name to us ASAP and we will contact them if we haven't already. We see how you are...all covert 'n' stuff. Nice work!
Q: Why should I attend (sorry if it sounds rude) when there are other options for events? A: You're not being rude at all. The WPE is to allow you an opportunity to meet and build relationships with local professionals. It's not a huge sales pitch, there is ZERO pressure, every single expert is locally based and you choose how you want the evening to unfold. It's almost as if you've invited a bunch of people to your home so you can pick and choose the ones that best fit your style-rather than driving around to meet them. The WPE is about you (and that's not just for fluff. It's how the concept was created). Q: What does the $15 ticket include? A: Everything. Your appetizers, dinner, beverages, desserts, the show, entertainment and whatever else we decide to throw in. Q: What time does the event begin? A: 4pm. We DO want to stress that the event is an actual show where performances, meet and greet, dining and entertainment has been scheduled. You won't want to miss anything so arrive as on time as you can and plan to stay until the end...or after (if the music is good). Q: Are kids welcome? A: For this specific event, guests should be 21 and older. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Q: This still doesn't make sense. How do I meet potential wedding vendors? A: Think of it like a first date. You want to get to know them a bit. Find out what makes them tick, what are they passionate about, how do they stand apart? Mix and mingle, watch the wedding demonstrations and then find your favorites during the meet and greet portion of the night. Keep in mind, these are just suggestions. Since it's a party, you can choose to converse the whole night or just sit back and watch it all unfold. We all have different communication stylesjust be you. Q: This sounds like a theater production...or am I way off? A: You're way ON! A portion of the event is just like that. Although, it's like more than one theater show competing against the other theater show to be named the favorite of the night. Add in an extended intermission, dinner, etc, and you've got an entire night out.
Q: How much is parking? A: Free. Regardless of where we are and what the parking situation is like, you will not be charged for parking. How many times can we say parking in one answer? Q: I am planning a smaller wedding. Is this event for higher budget weddings? A: No. Yes. It's for all sorts of weddings. We encourage you to be just who you are and plan the wedding you want. Whatever size your wedding ends up becoming, you will have an opportunity to find one or 20 people who can help you make it happen. Q: I'm gay. Can I come? A: Of course you can! One of the featured ceremonies is a commitment ceremony. Q: Who should I bring? A: We say that you should bring anyone you would like to share this experience with. All sorts of connections can be made at the Wedding Preview Event. Bring your fiancĂŠ, create a girls night out, and bring your family, whatever. It's all up to you. Q: I have no idea where to begin with my planning so this seems overwhelming. A: We know this isn't a question but we wanted to address it. You don't have to know anything to enjoy this event. You may not even be engaged yet. That's totally fine. The Wedding Preview Event will be an experience for all guests. Who knows, you may see some really great ideas, your creativity may be sparked or you might make a new friend. Either way, being a guest at the party doesn't require you to do anything you wouldn't want to do. Q: What do I wear? A: What do you want to wear? Okay. Wear that. Q: A party? Like, dinner, dancing and socializing? A: Exactly like that.
