Fuchsia fusion Pamela and Ben held a beautiful, colourful ceremony at Lennoxlove House, east Lothian The atmosphere... We are both from edinburgh, so ideally wanted to be close to the city but still have a relaxed, country feel. We didn’t want to fuss about small details, but do love throwing a party so it was important to us that our friends and family had a great time and felt at home. We had the ceremony and reception at Lennoxlove House in Scotland. While it had the grandeur of a castle, it was also cosy and intimate. We decorated the great Hall, where we had our ceremony, with big and bright floral displays. 46

The look... My Pronovias dress had a sweetheart neckline and full A-line skirt. The top half was lace, which gradually disappeared further down the skirt. When i first tried it on i wasn’t sure about it because it was strapless, but the bridal shop added some beautiful lace cap sleeves and a beaded belt, which made the dress perfect for me. My sister was my only bridesmaid and we found a beautiful nude Jenny Packham dress for her to wear, which had pretty silver beading across the top. For my bouquet, my florist chose a brilliant mix of hydrangeas,

peonies, spray roses and thistles. it provided an amazing pop of colour against my dress. Being Scottish, there was no question about whether the groom would wear a kilt! The lining on his jacket matched the purple in my flowers, and we added a thistle buttonhole. The details... For the tablecentres, we used cracked silver pots, vases of alternating heights and candles. We also wanted to decorate the outside, so had candles and petals in hurricane lamps, and big posies of carnations that hung from the trees. We had a cocktail hour after the ceremony www.weddingmagazine.co.uk
