PE CORES: EVOLUTION Polyethylene cores have long been the standard in the bodyboard industry due to its ability to bend and flex in critical parts of the wave. These cores became very popular with the elite riders as the sport has progressed and moved into very hollow and powerful waves where adjusting the board through steep faces and long barrels have allowed the cores to excel with the handling in these types of conditions. The PE core technology is produced through an extrusion method as the blanks are produced with controlled air
direction to increase the cells size. PE core technology is slowly becoming obsolete as we deliver cores specifically designed for bodyboarding with much greater flex control and recoil. As we understand that PE core still holds a place in the market we have developed a method of core production that increases the strength of the core through a horizontal layered lamination technique. Increasing the strength and durability while allowing the board to flex in all the same places. The next advancement for PE core is now available.

True core technology innovation. Paradox is the change the bodyboarding industry has been waiting for. Paradox Cell is a light weight core produced via direct mould injection. Meaning that Paradox core is developed 1 board at a time, giving unrivalled consistency for a core designed for heavy waves. Through DMI we are able to dial in the required density of the core much more evenly through controlled manufacturing processes. Paradox Cell is fused as a BPP foam although following the characteristics of the highest grade PE cores for flex and strength comparisons. However we are able to manipulate these cores for advanced shaping methods and techniques. Widening the scope of what is achievable through Paradox Cell.
Freedom 6 is the next generation of PP cores. Also produced via DMI design the core has become the predecessor of EPP or Extruded PP core technology. EPP created too many inconsistencies with in the cores structure, giving each board an entirely different flex. Agit then developed the DMI method to focus bodyboard consistency to suit our clients requirements of high end core production. Freedom 6 is the latest technology set for release in 2011/12 as the front runner for exceptional movement and strength ratios. Developed on the principles of the 6 degrees of Freedom, this core is the ultimate when it comes to speed, power and controlled surfing. IT ALL TOGETHER
The Agit facility house the industries finest CNC shaping machines. Creating the detailed and intricate templates, tail designs, concave and contour systems giving life to an idea or concept. Advanced computer programme software enables our team to design and develop images in complex 3D mapping from the simplistic sketches that provide the inspiration for the finished product. CNC shaping allows our production team to focus on the fundamentals of board fabrication techniques, providing the product with detailed finished touches by expertly trained shapers in assistance of our experienced production staff. The fine line between Man verse Machine becomes transparent throughout our production line as a culmination of over 30 years manufacturing methods and hand shaping experience combine to give our products the Agit certified approval for quality craftsmanship.
CONTROLLED HOT AIR LAMINATION
The method we use when utilizing dual heat sources to intricately laminate deck and bottom skins to the core. Both hot air and ceramic Infra·red heat is used to ensure a solid bond over the entire surface area of each board. By using Infra-red technology we are able to monitor the exact alignment of the skins to the core surface, giving direct precision to the fusing skins.
AGIT Global Inc. with a combined 75,000 sq. footage of manufacturing and warehousing area, provides your project optimum space to integrate the raw materials to high performance bodyboarding crafts. Our technicians at AGIT can consult you on lead times, material options, and provide you a quotation for your needs for detailed material implementation. Our units meet a high standard of detailed output and many of our CNC technologies have been designed so that you may meet the critical standards you have placed for your products.
Lamination is then tested via our quality control step IHS (Induced Heat Simulation) where each board is situated in a tempered room fit to tropical Water temps and extreme heat environments. By introducing this quality procedure we can ensure the product is certified for consumer sale.
Agit’s extensive materials used for performance bodyboarding products consist of high quality NXL skins for deck, rail and tail. IXL guards for nose, tail and rail protection provides high impact absorbing is distributed along the boards outer shell. Each skin is calibrated to allow the material to flex with a density of 8lb. Giving the board the recoil and projection necessary to create speed and control. Surlyn bottom skins are also used for optimum flex and projection characteristics. Dramatically increasing the pivotal point of turning the board in critical areas.
PRECISION STRINGER INLAY PSI: REINVENTING THE CREATION PROCESS Flat Type A ™ This particular configuration combnes more flexibility than most common single round carbon stringer configurations Flat Type S ™ 3 different grade / length flat stringers stacked one on top of each other. With the advantage of flex stringer at the top half of the board but also prividing good stiffness at the lower half 1 Round Carbon Stringer ™ The most common configuration, providing additional stiffness to the board. Flat Type B ™ Unlike the tubular stringer, the flat stringer gives a total recoil, snapping and popping character that tubular stringers could never achieve. Variable Stringer System ™ One round stringer in the centre as a stiffener and two flat stringers on each side to provide recoil.

Suspended in precise alignment within each core as fusion takes place, reducing systematic error giving suspension insertion an edge over other manufacturing techniques. PSI has allowed for accurate core mapping for our technical team to calibrate stringer combinations to suit water surface conditions for maximum levels of performance surfing. What we are able to create using this new technology will undoubtedly see the next boom of material combinations within the cores to even further enhance the surfers to discover, and perform new aerial maneuvers. As impacts from the projection created from the PSI system also serves as a compression cushion to ride out of heavy landings in a much smoother action, making transitions from maneuver combinations fluent & seamless.
