Busways

New concept of jointing New assembling method using special joint pack is applied to all the Susol busways. This technology enlarges the contact area by using both surface contacting and uses only one torque value(855kgf�cm~1,045kgf�cm) for all models, which result in more convenient construction and stable jointing.

Plug in Box & Tap Box � Safety Lock ‐Plug in Box uses Safety Lock. ‐Door Inter Lock : When the breaker in Plug in Box is "ON" (energized) state the Door is locked. ‐Inter Lock with Busway : When the breaker in Plug in Box is "ON" (energized) state the Plug in Box can’t be removal.

� Knock Out Hole ‐LSIS Standard Cable Membrane Plate installed.

� Position of N phase ‐It is located on the right side in Plug in Box when viewed from the front of the Box.

� Door Open and Shut Type ‐Door is Right Push Handle Type as standard. Left Push Handle Type is available on request.

� Grounding - Internal Type ‐Make sure that the ground terminal of Plug in Box is connected to Busway before inserting Plug in Box.

Design manual

Layout design considerations � Consider the load current and the future increasing for the decision of the Busway rating. � The current rating should be compensated when the ambient temperature exceeds 40℃ � Consider the voltage drop by the length of Busway. � Consider the mechanical and thermal strength of Busway when calculating short-circuit current. � Consider Load sharing of Busway Route when Reducer is applied, which enables Busway configuration with the optimized current. � Using Plug in Box for the load side connection and installing preliminary Plug in Hole for future expansion are recommended. � Straight Busway array is recommended to minimize the use of Elbow. � Place that is dry and easy to check is recommended for Busway installation. � Consultation for the decision of the installation route is recommended. � Sufficient reviewing of the construction plan in advance is required as the change of specification is difficult during the Busway production and installation.

How to design distribution systems (1) Fig. A : conventional method which is complex for wiring and difficult for maintenance (2) Fig. B : system and installation are reasonable and economical compared to A. (3) Fig. C : recommendable as its system and installation are more reasonable and economical than A and B. In addition maintenance, expansion of the branch and change of layout are easy.

Instruction on Hanger supporting structure 1. Prepare 12mm (1/2") Lifting bolts. 2. Use lifting bolts to level the Busduct. 3. Do not let the lifting bolts overlap with joint part. 4. Fix the Busduct by Hanger. Note) 1. Supporting distance of Busduct is 1.5m and should not exceed 2m. 2. In case of multiful installation make it to be single Hanger structure. 3.
