Warranty Policy Packs & bags | LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY Dakine offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. Dakine will repair or replace, at its discretion any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use and are within the Limited Lifetime Warranty covenants which exclude normal wear. Claims should be presented to the shop where the goods were purchased with proper documentation to validate claims thereunder.

All other products + packs & bags before season W12-13 | 2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Dakine offers a Two (2) Year Limited Warranty, from the time of initial purchase, against manufacturing defects. Dakine will repair or replace, at its discretion, any products found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use and are within the Two, (2), Year Limited Warranty covenants which exclude normal wear. Claims should be presented to the shop where the goods were purchased, with proper documentation to validate claims thereunder.

What means Limited Lifetime Warranty ? Dakine’s Lifetime Limited Warranty covers our packs and bags that are defective in materials or workmanship (such as defective seams, sliders, zip pullers...) in the period starting from the date of purchase (for packs and bags from season W12-13 and later) and the end of life of the product used under normal conditions. In some specific cases (see exemples p.4), Dakine will apply the 2 Year Limited Warranty

Please note the following restrictions applicable to the Dakine’s Limited Lifetime Warranty > Under no circumstances the Dakine Warranty will allow you to ask for refund of the price paid in case of a damaged or defective product. > Damages resulting from abuse (such as tears, cuts and holes in the fabric) and cosmetic damage (such as scratched or stained fabrics) are not covered by Dakine Warranty. > Under no circumstances will Dakine cover incidental or consequential damages (such as damage to or loss of the contents of the bag, loss of use, loss of time and similar expenses). > Other damages not covered are damages caused by airlines or other transit damage (such as pressure damage; tears, cuts and holes in the fabric; damage to the wheel covers, handles and other hardware of the bag). Damage claims in transit cases should be filed against the carrier.
