WORLDWIDE LOVE “After flipping through an issue of Onboard, I’m ready to shred and shoot.” Dean Blotto Gray, Photographer “Onboard? Yeah you guys are cool, you’re only cool cuz you guys are runnin’ it, that’s why you’re cool and if you weren’t runnin’ it you wouldn’t be so cool, so yeah catch 22 really.... but no really, Onboard is cool… Hey when is my cover coming out???” Tyler Chorlton, Pro-Snowboarder “In my eyes, Onboard is the one and only European snowboard magazine – it’s distributed all over Europe and in so many different languages. Personally I am most stoked to have my riding pictures in Onboard magazine out of all the other magazines. It’s been around my whole snowboard career and will be till the end of my career!” Eero Ettala, Pro-Snowboarder “Onboard magazine: The best snowboarding magazine of Europe. It tells you everything about snowboarding that you need to know and even more… It rocks like a rock star!!” Peetu Piiroinen, Pro-Snowboarder 02

“Onboard was the first European snowboard magazine published in several languages. It’s still here eleven years later to represent European snowboarding. That’s the proof of some serious work made by passionate people and that’s the most important thing in this industry.” Nicolas Droz, Pro-Snowboarder “Onboard is THE snowboard mag in Europe without a doubt. I think it is great that there is a mag that serves 5 languages and therefore connects all the diverse scenes across the whole of Europe. Also the online content is always fresh and you´ll find the hard facts first on www. onboardsnowboarding.com. Keep it coming.” Thomas Beckna Eberharter, Pro-Snowboarder “Onboard - 100 issues in and still truthful to its origins: all about showing snowboarding as it evolves and supporting the European scene. Snowboarding changed a lot over the years and the sporting achievements have been numerous. Onboard has always been there to tell the stories and show us the whole thing. I don’t

even know if I had started riding when the first issue came out, but I hope I’ll still be riding for the 200th issue!” Mathieu Crepel, Pro-Snowboarder “I have been snowboarding around the world for over 15 years. In each country and on each continent I find a ton of cool snowboard magazines. Of all of them, Onboard is definitely one of my favourites to read.” Jeremy Jones, Pro-Snowboarder “Onboard is the major connection between the European snowboard scenes.” David Benedek, Pro-Snowboarder “When snowboarding was on the rising star in the mid-nineties, Onboard was the first magazine that provided a platform for the entire European snowboard community – a magazine that combined all the scenes. Like everybody, it’s had it’s ups and downs but at 100 issues is still going strong and at Absinthe we consider our partnership integral to our future growth.“ Patrick Armbruster, Absinthe Films “Onboard is the voice of European

snowboarding. It’s readers are the people who come into our stores to buy our products.” Jeremy Sladen, The Snowboard Asylum “Blue Tomato carried out a questionnaire this autumn and asked customers who ordered the new print catalogue online which magazines they read. Of the non German speaking customers Onboard was the number one boardsport magazine. Of the German speaking customers Onboard was in the top 3 magazines read. Blue Tomato utilises Onboard as a distribution channel for the winter print catalogue, which enables us to reach many new customers across Europe. It is a unique distribution channel which we also utilise in summer by inserting our surf catalogue inside Surf Europe.” Simone Unterrainer, Blue Tomato Snowboard Shop, Marketing and Product Manager
