ANALOGUE STYLES Unless changing time or date, crown must always be pushed in so water cannot penetrate case & watch can function correctly. DIGITAL STYLES Do not operate buttons while your watch is fully submerged in water. LEATHER STRAPS It is not recommended to wear leather straps in water, as leather is not waterproof. It can start to deteriorate and smell. If you want to wear your watch in the water it is better to choose a pu or metal band. PU STRAPS To prevent discolouration do not wear coloured pu straps (excluding black) in chlorine. This watch has been tested by industry standards to an overpressure situation in a static laboratory environment. This means the watch was not influenced by frequent temperature changes, saltwater, sand or big wipeouts. Constant exposure to these situations can seriously effect the rubber seals which keep water out. It is recommended that every 24 month the rubber seals are replaced and fully tested by a billabong watch technician.

CARE PROCEDURES Only use your watch for suggested sports within your watches water resistance rating. Do not operate buttons while your watch is fully submerged in water. It is not recommended to wear your watch in a hot spa or sauna. Avoid exposing your watch to extreme and sudden temperature changes which can be damaging to your watches water resistance. We recommend that all watches are taken off before showering (due to temperature changes) and before going into swimming pools (due to chlorine). Always rinse your watch thoroughly after it has been exposed to saltwater & chlorine. Do not use spray cleaners, thinners or other volatile agents to clean your watch. Never try to open the caseback of your watch, leave this to the professionals and have your watch serviced by a billabong watch technician. If your watch has moisture appear inside the watch, have it serviced by a billabong watch technician. Avoid dropping your watch and unnecessarily rough treatment. Avoid exposing your watch to gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, paint and other volatile agents. The chemical reaction can destroy seals and cause damage to the case and finish of your watch. Avoid magnetic fields as they may affect the time keeping of your watch, and they will affect your watches compass reading. To prevent discolouration do not wear coloured PU straps (excluding black) in chlorine.
