My name is Leah Dillow and I am from Sugar Land, Texas. I was born in August 27, 1996. I have an older sister Elise and the best parents Nancy and Gale Dillow. I am currently a sophomore (class of 2014) at Dulles High School. I have been playing softball since I was six years old. This is my fourth year playing select softball, my third year with the Sugar Land Stealth coached by Freddy Hinojosa. My primary position is pitcher but I also play third base and first base. Tim Timmons has been my pitching coach for the past 4 years. I also pitch for the Dulles High School varsity softball team. As a freshman I was selected for All-District Honorable Mention. I also play second base when I am not pitching. My hobbies are hanging out with friends, watching TV and texting. And I love mac and cheese.

Faith, family, education and softball are of the upmost importance in my life. My Christian faith is the strongest motivator in all and everything that I do. I am the only daughter to a family of five. My name is Amanda C. Guerra, second sibling born on October 14, 1996 to Edward and Teresa Guerra. I have the best family for whom I have the greatest love and respect for. They are the core of my character. I am fortunate to have their cheers and support in every aspect of my life. My interest in what I would say is the greatest sport of all, began at the age of eleven, when I was cheering on my cousin's league softball team. Thus, leading to where I am now. I am an incoming freshman at Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas. My goals are to maintain a high GPA in order to be successful in the pursuit of my dreams. My goals are to attend and play at a collegiate level, where I would like to study and pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a cardiologist.

Hey, I'm Melanie Hinojosa and I'm a freshman at Kempner High School. I am the the second youngest out of four children. My parents are the best. They've been very supportive of me since day one. My amazing dad has coached me for 3 years now, and I wouldn't be where I'm at today in softball without him. My mom is my hero. She's taught me to be the very best I can be at whatever I do. I'm very thankful to have such loving parents in my life. When I was 9 years old, I quit competitive cheerleading to pursue my career as a softball player. My sister, Holly, definitely had a big part of why I started playing. Whenever I watched her play, I couldn't help but to think that I wanted to be out there. So I quit cheerleading and joined a league team. I started off batting right handed, but wasn't very good at it. So my dad switched me to the left side where he taught me how to hit, slap, and drag. I now play second base, but I can also play shortstop and outfield. Wherever the team needs me, I'm willing to play. Education is a very important part of my life. I take school very seriously, and work extremely hard to make good grades. I'm a straight A student, and I plan to keep it that way. After High School, I plan to attend a college where I get the opportunity to play softball. As for my studies, I plan on majoring in Biology and becoming a veterinarian. When I'm not on the field, I'm usually texting, playing Xbox with my little brother, listening to some Beatles, or eating ice cream!

My name is Jamie Jelinek. I was born on August 28, 1996 in Greenville, South Carolina, but have lived in Houston, Texas almost all my life. My family is very supportive and I don't know what I would do without them. My mom is always willing to take me where I need to go, my dad loves to come watch me play as often as he can, and even my older brother, Jonathan can be very encouraging. I started playing softball when I was 5 years old. When I was 9, I joined my first select team, Magic '96, as a left fielder, and in 2007 we took 4th in the USFA World Series in Panama City Beach, Florida. Since then, I have played multiple positions, such as shortstop, 2nd base, 3rd base and outfield for a couple different teams. I joined the 14u Sugar Land Stealth in September 2010 where I played mostly shortstop. This year will be Ridge Point's first year with a varsity softball team so I am really looking forward to the High School softball season! School is very important to me, so I always try hard and give 100% in order to do my best in the classroom. I have had various ideas for what I would like to study in school, and right now, I am planning on pursuing photography and journalism. I would love to be able to travel the world and write about the interesting things I experience.

Grades, family and softball are the three most important factors in my life at this point and when I'm not studying or shopping with my mom and sister I'm on a softball diamond with my dad nearby. I have two very supportive parents and one older sister, (my best friend) Carly. She is a freshman at SMU this year and I miss her more and more everyday. I owe a lot of my success to my parents; my mom is a great cheerleader and my father is an awesome catcher.

I started playing softball when I was 6 and started pitching when I was 11. When I was 13 my family and I made the commitment to play tournament softball because I couldn't get enough of the game. I enjoy controlling the game and take it very seriously. I have been through 3 rigorous off-seasons at Katy under the direction of Coach Kent Bruno, and 3 exciting seasons led by Coach Kalum Haack. I can't wait to take control and own the circle my senior year! I'm determined to make my last year of high school the best one yet! When I'm not on the softball field I like to spend time with my friends and just be a kid. I love being outdoors and I like to stay busy. I can't stand to spend the whole day inside the house. I am a very stubborn person who doesn't back down often. I've set high goals and strong morals for myself in hopes to make my parents proud in everything that I do.

I've been playing softball since I was 8. My dad got me into it by just throwing around a baseball in the front yard. I started off playing league ball for 2 years then moved to select ball at age 10 and played for Texas Magic. We then turned into Texas Kaos and I played with that organization for 7 years, left that team played for Texas Magic out of Sugar Land for 2 seasons and then finally found Stealth based in Sugar Land also. I attend Fort Bend Christian Academy high school, go eagles! Softball is my life and will always be I don't know were I'd be without it. I plan to play at the collegiate level and would really like to go to Texas A&M where I want to attend and study veterinarian school. I want to thank all my coaches who have gotten me this far and for the coaches to come who will take me to a higher level.

I have my Mother and Father to thank for getting me where I am today. Without them, I'm not sure where I would be. Along with my parents, I have one older and one younger brother who mean the world to me. I began playing softball at the age of 12 and immediately fell in love with the sport. After playing one year of Fall and Spring Ball at the local fields in Pearland, I made the Pearland All Star Team. Later that Summer, I was invited to tryout for the select team, Texas Liberty, and was trained and coached by Robert and Tonetta Andaya. I played for Texas Liberty for three years and they taught me to focus on the mental aspect of the game and helped me improve my skills. During my time with Texas Liberty, we attended one of the Women's College World Series and it was what initially made up my mind that I wanted to play collegiate ball. Besides softball, I take school very seriously and strive to do my best in the classroom. After I graduate from High School, I plan to attend a college where I can study veterinary medicine and earn my doctorate to become a large animal vet, specializing in the care of livestock. When not playing softball I enjoy the hanging out with friends, volunteering in local organizations, going to the beach, visiting relatives, and taking care of my animals!

I am a member of the MMOB "Memorial Mustang Outreach Bunch" and "KSA", Senior girl's service club. I am proud to be a 4-year letterman and Team Captain for Memorial HS Varsity Softball. I have played softball since I was six years old. I have pitched and played shortstop, first base and outfield for various select teams prior to high school. I was starting shortstop on Memorial's Varsity softball team as a freshman and received the 18-5A DISTRICT NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR award. As a sophomore, I batted third in Memorial's line up and lead the team in RBI's. I received the 18-5A ALL DISTRICT AWARD INFIELD SECOND TEAM. Last year, my Junior year, Memorial High School athletics moved to District 19-5A which is made up of the seven Katy High Schools and Memorial. We knew it would be a tough year adjusting to a new district and a new coach; and it was. With the fine coaching of Stephanie Mosley my team will be ready this season for my senior year. My freshman year, our beloved coach, Tina Young was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer. She had some tough decisions to make, but the toughest was to retire from coaching softball. Her fight against her illness has been an inspiration to all of us that know and played for her at Memorial High School. My effort on the field and in the classroom everyday is dedicated to her courage and strength. 4CY

I started playing softball when I was 7 years old for the YMCA. From my first game, I knew that I loved the sport! After a few years playing for the YMCA, I decided I was ready to play at a more competitive level and joined my first Tournament/Travel team. I enjoy being part of a team and have learned a lot of valuable life lessons through softball; teamwork, perseverance and so much more. I am very excited to join the 18 Gold Sugar Land Stealth and look forward to new friends, new experiences and of course hitting the dirt!! I have played pretty much every position, including pitching a few times when my high school team’s pitcher was sick. I was a catcher for 4 years and decided I wanted to try something different my freshman year so I began playing second base and outfield. I was a varsity letterman my freshman year and received All District Honorable Mention my sophomore year. My most memorable high school game was when I went 3 for 4 at bat, hitting an "In the Park" homerun, my junior year. I received Player of the Week for this game!! We refer to this as my $14,000 homerun since my dad tore a ligament in his knee cheering and ended up having surgery! My family has always supported me through the many years I have played softball and I am so grateful for them. I am proud of my high school team’s annual "Strike Out Pink" game, which my mom has chaired both years since we began playing in awareness of breast cancer for one game during the season.

Hi my name is Madison Whatley, I was born in Houston,TX on August 22, 1996. I am a sophomore attending Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land. I am a senior girl scout of San Jacinto Council, currently working on my final project to receive my Gold Award. I lettered in softball my freshman year playing predominately outfield. I started playing softball at age 4, after my older sister took an interest. Both my sisters and I played softball for a number of years, but I am the only one that seriously pursued the sport. I played league ball at Sugar Land Girls Softball Association until I was eight. At nine I started All Stars during the summer, and by the time I was 11 I was on my first select team. I changed teams to the Stealth 14U about two years ago. Last year, my freshman year, four other freshman and myself joined the varsity team. Having a young team, we were the "underdogs". We were one game away from going to play offs, but unfortunately we barely missed the cut. In my free time I love spending time with my family, especially my two little nephews. And hanging out with my friends is definitely my favorite pass time. In school, my grades are very important. As an eighth grader at Sartaria Middle School, I was nominated by my science teacher to a receive a national award from The United States Achievement Academy in 2010. I also earned the Presidential Award for straight A's and good behavior throughout my middle school years. Last year I was one of seven out of nearly four hundred Algebra I students chosen to participate in the Fort Bend District's annual Algebra Bowl.

I am an only child raised by two wonderful parents, Melinda and Scott White. I am lucky in that most of my extended family lives in the Houston area so I get to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins frequently. It is especially nice during holidays because all of my family can get together to celebrate. I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. I've played most positions including outfield, shortstop, pitcher, catcher and first base, but I'd have to say my favorite position is first base. I started playing select softball at age 13 when I was one of the original members of the 14U Sugar Land Stealth. My freshman year at Foster High School I played on the JV softball team and we made school history by going undefeated 24 and 0. This was the first time any team at Foster had ever had an undefeated season. I was moved up to varsity for the playoffs and I will be playing on the varsity team this year. I have also played on the varsity basketball team since my freshman year. I was the only freshman to make the varsity squad. My freshman year was so exciting because I got to go to the state playoffs with both the softball and basketball teams. Both of the teams made it into the third round of the playoffs. After high school I plan to attend college where I would like to study physical therapy and psychology. My goal is to continue my softball career at the college level...

My name is Jordin Wilkins, in was born on June 14, 1996. I live in Katy, Texas where I am a sophomore at Cinco Ranch High School. I am the second oldest out of four children raised by my parents, Yvette and Tim Wilkins. I have a huge family that luckily still lives in Texas, my mother's side of the family in from Fort Worth, Texas. My father's side is from everywhere. I’m glad they're close so I get to spend time them. When I was a freshman at Cinco I was a starting short stop for the varsity squad, but when our first district game came up he put me down to junior varsity because I had a rough pre-season. Varsity ball was very tough and it got to me and I lost my confidence. But after playing for JV I got it back and devoting myself to never letting that happen again. I got moved up to play on varsity again for the playoffs and thought I could redeem myself but we lost in the first round. Now I am a sophomore and I’m ready to give it my all. I plan on going to college where I want to continue my career in softball while studding to be a marine biologist. Outside off softball I love to hangout with my friends, be with my family, but most of all grades are my top priority this year.

Growing up I was always very active in sports. I started swimming at the age of 3, softball at 5, basketball and tennis at 7, volleyball at 13. At the age of 12, I won a USTA sanctioned tennis tournament, moving up to championship level. I also swam competitively during the summers and played basketball year round. I played league softball since the age of 5 and select through the age of 12. While I was on my middle school softball team, I hit several out of the park home runs. I was at the top of my game freshman year, with the 2nd highest batting average of the team and clean up batter. Then I sustained a shoulder injury diving for 2nd base towards the end of the school season. This required a level of dedication to physical therapy that I had never experienced. The season ended with my high school team taking 2nd at the state tournament. Since my shoulder injury, I have come to realize many things. One which is most important to me is that you have to work hard to earn the things you want in life. I never fail to work 110% in anything I do. School has always been important to me. Keeping up my grades has allowed me through the years to play the sports I enjoy. Other than my parents, Nancy and Jacoby (my high school coach) have all been amazing supporters in my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without any of these people.
