WTCA REGIONAL MEETING HOSTED IN CAPE TOWN

World Trade Center Cape Town has won the rights to host the first ever World Trade Centers Association’s (WTCA) Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) Regional Meeting to be held in Africa. This annual regional meeting will see representatives from World Trade Centers from the EMEA regions converging for this important meeting, in Cape Town, South Africa, from 30 May to 1 June 2012. Due to the immense expressed interest in the Future of Trade Africa 2012 Trade and Investment Commerce Exchange, the event will now be hosted alongside Southern African International Trade Exhibition in July 2012

Purpose

The purpose of WTCA’s EMEA Regional Meeting 2012 is to encourage peer-to-peer dialogues through various interactive panel discussions and networking, amongst World Trade Center (WTC) representatives & WTC Trade Mission Participants, which will help further the cooperation and exchange among WTC's throughout these vast and growing regions.

Objective The objective of WTCA’s EMEA Regional Meeting 2012 is to increase inter-regional trade amongst EMEA regions and hence stimulate multiple economies.

Use the Business Matchmaking Program to search, view and select whom you want to meet at WTCA’s EMEA Regional Meeting 2012. All registered B 2 B Matchmaking delegates will be available for meetings within the Business Matchmaking Program.

Early registration and scheduling results in more meetings! Business Matchmaking Program: 1.     Pre-show profiling – all confirmed B 2 B Matchmaking delegates are profiled from 6 weeks before WTCA's EMEA Regional Meeting 2012. A basic profile is created that can be edited once you’ve logged into your business matchmaking account. 2.     Pre-scheduling access – once you are profiled, you will receive a unique online account (username) to login, edit your profile if necessary, view your matching report, select who you want to meet and schedule your meetings. All your scheduled meetings are updated in your personal online diary to monitor meeting status (accepted, declined or cancelled). 3.     Personal Assistance – the Business Matchmaking Team is available to assist you with your meeting selections should you require personal assistance to schedule your meetings. The matchmaking team will gather your requests and schedule the meetings for you. 4.     Onsite assistance - The Business Matchmaking Team is onsite at a matchmaking helpdesk. This helpdesk will consist of staff that track meetings and staff that follow up on no-shows for delegates. Although all meetings must be scheduled before the Regional Meeting starts, our team is able to assist you with meeting changes.
